This week saw a continued emphasis on negotiated weapons handovers and raids on hidden weapons caches in the coast and western Homs. The brief but intense clashes with Hezbollah-linked smugglers around Hawsh Sayyid Ali also ended early this week, while pro-regime insurgent attacks continue intermittently in the coast.
